Mica Corporation is thrilled to announce its participation at the first-ever FlexPack Crash Course at Pack Expo in Chicago, IL on October 26 at 9 AM CT. Jaclyn Epstein, Mica’s Sales and Marketing Strategy Manager, will be presenting at the educational event that is poised to set industry newcomers up for success.
The FlexPack Crash Course, organized by the Flexible Packaging Association’s (FPA) Emerging Leadership Council (ELC), is designed for new hires and newcomers to the flexible packaging industry with fewer than five years of industry experience. The course will educate attendees about industry trends and challenges and provide a high-level overview of materials and converting basics, and package design best practices. Jaclyn will be leveraging Mica’s 50 years of expertise and deep technical knowledge to discuss the purpose and benefits of using water-based primers and coatings to enhance adhesion and performance in flexible packaging during a session called “Adhesives, Primers & Coatings” which she will co-present with Jessica Burchfield of H.B. Fuller.
“This event will act as a crash course for young professionals in the flexible packaging industry and will give attendees a jump start in their careers. We are proud to be able to lend our expertise and offer some guidance to these future leaders,” said Jaclyn.
Registration for this event is free for FPA member companies. For more information, please view the course brochure. To reserve a seat at this event, register now.
