Mica Corporation, a leading manufacturer of innovative water-based primers and coatings for the global flexible packaging industry, is pleased to welcome Karen Stenger as the new Marketing and Communications Manager.
In this role, Karen will support Mica’s growth strategy through impactful brand and product messaging. Karen will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of marketing initiatives including industry events, website management, and the creation of sales materials to drive lead generation and to strengthen the Mica brand as a sustainable solutions leader.
Karen brings with her 11 years of experience in the chemical industry, having previously served as the Marketing Communications Manager at King Industries, a manufacturer of specialty additives for coatings and lubricants. Mica Corporation is confident that Karen's skills and expertise will make a significant contribution to the team and elevate Mica’s marketing and communications efforts.
Karen holds a bachelor’s degree in strategic communications and a master’s degree in interactive media from Elon University. She also helped establish Norwalk Emerging Leaders and Entrepreneurs (NELE), a young professionals group within the Greater Norwalk Chamber that focuses on networking, professional development and participation in philanthropic events in the community.
