Mica Corporation, a leading supplier of water-based primers and coatings to the global flexible converting industry, is pleased to announce the appointment of Alphonse Aconfora as Supply Chain Director.
Alphonse has a 30-year history of achievement in supply chain management, procurement, and contract management and negotiations. Prior to joining Mica, he was Supply Chain Manager of Molding Compounds at Evonik Cyro LLC, in Wallingford, CT, where he managed the planning, execution, and control of supply chain management functions for acrylic ME&C products on a global scale. Alphonse obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Connecticut.
In his new role, Alphonse will be responsible for planning, optimizing, directing, and coordinating Mica’s global supply chain and logistics-related activities including purchasing, inventory management, distribution strategy, and freight management.
